IMPOUNDING ANIMALS
SECTION 42(26). To prevent any and all animals from running at large within the city limits, or any part thereof, and to punish those persons who allow animals to so run at large; and to provide for their impounding, and also for the sale, of such animals upon five days' notice; and to authorize the destruction of animals when at large, contrary to any prohibition of any such ordinance; to impose license taxes on dogs, cats, and other animals.
