HEALTH REGULATIONS
HEALTH REGULATIONS
SECTION 42(10). To make regulations to prevent contagious diseases in the city, or to remove persons afflicted with such diseases to suitable hospitals provided by the city for that purpose; to secure the protection of persons and property therein; to provide for the health, cleanliness, ornament, peace and good order of the city; to regulate the wiring, plumbing and drainage of buildings and the use of steam boilers and steam generators, and to license and regulate electricians, builders and plumbers to provide penalties for the breach of any of the provisions thereof; to make such sanitary regulations as to the council may seem proper.
