BRIBING-PUNISHMENT
SECTION 27-A(4). Any person offering to give a bribe, either in money or other consideration, to any elector for the purpose of influencing his vote at any election herein provided, or any elector entitled to vote at any such election receiving and accepting such bribe or other consideration; any person making false answers to any of the provisions relative to his qualifications to vote at any such election; any person wilfully voting or offering to vote at any such election who has not been a resident of this state for six months last preceding said election, or who is not 21 years of age, or is not a citizen of the United States, or knowing himself not to be a qualified elector of such city or precinct or ward where and at the time he offered to vote; any person knowingly procuring, aiding or abetting any violation hereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than $100.00 nor more than $300.00, or be imprisoned in the city jail not less than 10 days, nor more than 60 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
