PETITIONS-TIME FOR FILING
SECTION 6-A(5). The nominating petition, containing not less than 25 qualified signatures for any one candidate must be presented to the city clerk not earlier than the 45th day nor later than the 30th day before the day fixed for the first election. The clerk shall endorse thereupon the date upon which the petition was presented to him.
