1-10L-2: DIRECTOR OF DEPARTMENT:
The City Clerk, who is hereby required to be deemed also the Director of the Department of City Clerk, shall be appointed by the Mayor by and with the advice and consent of the Council. The City Clerk shall superintend, direct, and manage the department and all officers, assistants, and employees assigned to and employed for the department and its various divisions.
