5-8-3: EXAMINATION OF PREMISES:
It shall be the duty of the person permitting, maintaining, conducting or promoting an assembly of persons to comply with all provisions of this Code relating to the health and safety of people, and in particular, ordinances, rules and regulations relating to building, electrical, fire, safety and health. No such assembly for any purpose shall be held or presented unless premises upon or within which that assembly shall be held have been examined by a designated employee of the Fire Department, Planning and Development Services or the Police Department, not less than three (3) days before the date of such assembly and found to be free from any hazard and suitable for the purpose of the assembly.
