9-13-76: IGCC GREEN CONSTRUCTION CODE AMENDMENT, INFORMATIVE APPENDIX I, SECTION I101.1 (I1.1), ITEM D, REGISTRATION, LICENSURE, OR CERTIFICATION OF A CX PROVIDER:

   d.   Registration, Licensure, or Certification of a Cx Provider. Personnel employed as a functional and performance testing provider or as an approved commissioning provider shall demonstrate competence, qualifications, and experience to the satisfaction of the code official. This includes having certifications such as from AABC Commissioning Group (ACG), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB), Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Building Commissioning Association (BCXA), or equivalent.

      Professional architects or engineers conducting commissioning and/or testing shall be licensed with the State of Idaho, including in the applicable discipline for the type of work being commissioned and/or tested.

      Documentation outlining qualifications, experience, and copies of certifications or licenses shall be provided to the code official for acceptance.
