Ordinance Text
5-1-25: PENALTY:
A. Any person found in violation of the provisions of sections 5-1-6, 5-1-7, 5-1-8, 5-1-10, 5-1-15, 5-1-19 and 5-1-23 of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction, unless otherwise specified as a misdemeanor, and subject to the penalty as provided in section 1-4-2 of this Code. There is no right to a trial by jury of a citation or complaint for an infraction. Such trials shall be held before the court without a jury.
B. Any person found in violation of the provisions of this chapter that are not specifically deemed as infractions, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and subject to the penalties as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code, unless a different penalty is otherwise established by the City Council and set forth on the City's Fines and Fees Schedule.
