9-1A-57: IBC BUILDING CODE AMENDMENT, SECTION 1612.3, ESTABLISHMENT OF FLOOD HAZARD AREAS:

   1612.3 Establishment of flood hazard areas. All construction within flood hazard areas as defined by the Flood Hazard regulations of the Boise Development Code shall be designed and constructed in accordance with that ordinance in addition to this code. To establish flood hazard areas, the applicable governing authority shall adopt a flood hazard map and supporting data. The flood hazard map shall include, at a minimum, areas of special flood hazard as identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in an engineering report entitled "The Flood Insurance Study for the City of Boise City" with date of issuance, as amended or revised with the accompanying Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and Flood Boundary and Floodway Map (FBFM) and related supporting data along with any revisions thereto. First Floodplain Ordinance for the City of Boise City became effective December 12, 1983. Flood Insurance Study (FIS) June 19, 2020.
