1-10A-2: CHIEF OF POLICE:
The Director of the Police Department shall be the Chief of Police, who shall superintend, direct and manage the department and all assigned and employed departmental officers, assistants and employees. The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. (Ord. 24-16, 8-9-2016; amd. 2019 Code)
