3-4-6: PERMIT REQUIRED; NONTRANSFERABLE:
A. Permit Required: It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a sidewalk café without first obtaining a permit issued under this chapter.
B. A permit for a sidewalk café for the placement of tables, chairs, and other furnishings on a sidewalk or public plaza shall only be issued to a retailer in an abutting premises who holds a valid eating and drinking license, and if applicable, valid alcohol licenses issued by the state, county, and city.
C. Permit Nontransferable: A sidewalk café permit may not be transferred between persons, businesses, or property locations. (Ord. 11-22, 3-29-2022)
