3-2-16: UNLAWFUL CONDUCT:
In addition to those acts set forth in section 3-1A-28 of this title, it shall be unlawful for any person to:
A. Failure To Comply: Fail to comply with any of the requirements and restrictions set forth in this chapter;
B. Misrepresentation: Misrepresent the purpose of, or affiliation of those engaged in, the solicitation;
C. Continue Efforts: Continue efforts to solicit from an individual once that individual informs the solicitor that he does not wish to give anything to or to buy anything from that solicitor;
D. Represent Endorsement: Represent the issuance of any license under this chapter as an endorsement or recommendation of the solicitation;
E. Posted Premises: Enter upon any premises when the same is posted with a sign stating "No Peddlers Allowed" or "No Solicitation Allowed" or other words to such effect; or
F. Fraud, Misrepresentations: Commit fraud, make misrepresentations or false statements in the course of carrying on the business. (1952 Code § 5-12-14; amd. 2019 Code)
