Ordinance Text
2-15-1: BOARD APPOINTMENTS:
The BCACHA Board of Commissioners consists of seven (7) Commissioners, who serve staggered five (5) year terms. The City fills appointments in odd numbered years and the Ada County Commissioners fill appointments in even numbered years. Commissioners appointed by the City shall, at the time of their appointment and throughout the tenure of their membership, be residents of the City. However, due to the broad jurisdiction for which BCACHA provides services, at any given time, one of the Commissioners appointed by the City may reside in the Boise City/Ada County area of impact, Ada County, or own a business in the City.
