2-13-4: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Accessible Parking Committee shall serve in an advisory capacity and is established to:
A. Provide information and recommendations to the Division of Parking Services relating to the need for additional accessible parking spaces pursuant to section 6-10A-15 of this Code.
B. Provide recommendations regarding the relocation, repair or modification of existing accessible parking spaces.
C. Accept, analyze and make recommendations to the Division of Parking Services regarding requests for additional accessible parking spaces as provided in section 6-10A-15 of this Code. (1952 Code § 2-25-04)
D. Provide advice and recommendations to the Planning and Development Services Department and other City departments on accessibility issues relating to streetscapes and sidewalk fixtures, including, but not limited to, the placement of signs, planters, benches, bicycle racks, newsstands, fences, and trash receptacles.
