9-7B-1: PURPOSE:
The purpose of this chapter is to provide minimum standards in order to safeguard life or limb, health, property, and the public welfare by regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, and materials of all fuel gas piping, systems, equipment, and appliances, including when installed in connection with mechanical and plumbing system installations, within Boise City limits, and to provide for the authority to verify the qualifications and licensing of persons engaged in the mechanical, plumbing and fuel gas installation industries.
