8-6-5: APPLICATION SUBMITTAL COMPLETENESS:

   A.   Application Submittal:

      1.   The application is submitted when the applicant and/or owner submits the appropriate application form, the appropriate fees, and all information listed as required on the application form and applicable checklist(s) to the Development Services Department.

      2.   The application must clearly indicate compliance with the applicable development standards. A request for a variance or modification to certain standards shall also indicate the application's degree of noncompliance.

   B.   Initiation: The Director shall review and process complete applications. The Director will not review or process incomplete applications.

   C.   Complete Determination: An application that is determined complete is processed using the procedures established in this Chapter.

   D.   Incomplete Determination: If an application is determined incomplete, the Director shall provide notice to the applicant and/or owner along with an explanation of the application's deficiencies. No further processing of an incomplete application will occur until the deficiencies are corrected in a future re-submittal.

   E.   Additional Information: The County will receive any supplemental technical reports and special studies that are submitted after the original application is filed at least thirty (30) days prior to the first application hearing. The County may postpone and reschedule a hearing or approval deadline if those reports and studies are submitted less than thirty (30) days prior to a hearing. Copies of additional materials are delivered to all reviewers who received the original application packet.
