1-4-1: GENERAL PENALTY:

Any person convicted of a violation of any section or provision of this code, where no other penalty is set forth, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, for any offense 1 , or by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00), and no imprisonment, when the offense is designated as an infraction, by state law or by any section or provision of this code 2 .
