8-4-1: PURPOSE AND APPLICABILITY:

   A.   Purpose: This Chapter provides additional standards for specific uses listed in Table 8-2-23-2 (Use Table).

   B.   Applicability: This Chapter applies to any property in unincorporated Ada County where the specific use is listed as a permitted, accessory, or conditional use in the base district or overlay district.

   C.   Use Table: Table 8-2-23-2 (Use Table) identifies which use requires specific use standards with a cross-reference to the applicable Section of this Chapter.

   D.   Standards Supplemental: These standards are in addition to the requirements of the applicable zoning district (Chapter 2), generally applicable development standards (Chapter 3), and other requirements of this Title.

   E.   Separation Measurement: This subsection applies to any required separation between a use and a zoning district or another use.

      1.   If the separation is from a use, measurement is made in a straight line, without regard to intervening structures or objects, from the nearest portion of the building or structure housing the use to the nearest property line of the other use, unless otherwise stated.

      2.   If the separation is from a zoning district, the measurement is made in a straight line, without regard to intervening structures or objects, from the nearest portion of the building or structure housing the use to the closest boundary line of the zoning district, unless otherwise stated.
