8-4-61: RECYCLING CENTER:
A. Outdoor storage areas shall comply with the specific use standards in this Chapter. No storage, excluding truck trailers, shall be visible above the required screening material.
B. Except for after-hours donation containers, no unsorted material shall be stored outdoors.
C. Any container provided for after-hours donation of recyclable materials shall be at least fifty feet (50') from a residential district or residential use, shall be of sturdy, rustproof construction, and shall have sufficient capacity to accommodate materials collected.
D. Power driven processing (including, but not limited to, aluminum foil and can compacting, baling, plastic shredding, or other light processing activities necessary for efficient temporary storage and shipment of materials) may be allowed when located within an enclosed structure.
E. All recycling center grounds and facilities shall be maintained in an orderly manner to not create a public nuisance.
