8-4-57: PUBLIC OR QUASI-PUBLIC USE:

8-4-57: PUBLIC OR QUASI-PUBLIC USE:
   A.   Public Recreation Facilities: The standards as set forth for amusement and recreation facilities shall apply for all public recreation facilities.
   B.   Storm Drainage And Storm Detention Facilities: A storm drainage facility and/or storm detention facility that is an accessory use to a roadway on the same property is exempt. For the purposes of this standard, subsection 8-3-2D (Contiguous Parcels) does not apply.
   C.   Underground Utilities: Underground utilities within an easement or within a public street right of way shall not require additional approval.
   D.   Correctional Facilities: Any privately owned correctional facility designed for residence by incarcerated individuals shall meet the following standards:
      1.   No structure or outdoor recreation area shall be located within one thousand feet (1,000') of a property line that abuts a residential district or residential use.
      2.   No structure or outdoor recreation area shall be located within one thousand feet (1,000') of a public or private school, day care center, or church.
