8-4-30: GROUP FOSTER HOME:

   A.   Generally: The proposed use shall be properly located and designed to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the client.

   B.   Parking: Off-street parking shall be provided as per Section 8-3-10, in addition to the required off-street parking for the dwelling.

   C.   Occupancy: If the proposed group foster home results in more than ten (10) persons occupying a dwelling at any one time, a concurrent application shall be submitted for a change of occupancy as required by the Ada County Building Code as set forth in Title 7, Chapter 2 of this code.

   D.   Outdoor Play:

      1.   A minimum outdoor play area of one hundred (100) square feet per client is required. The Director may waive the minimum recreation area requirement if there is a park that abuts the property that can be used by the clients.

      2.   All outdoor play areas shall be completely enclosed by minimum six-foot (6') barriers to secure against exit/entry by small children and to screen abutting properties. The fencing material shall meet the swimming pool barrier requirements of the Ada County Building Code as set forth in Title 7, Chapter 2 of this code.

      3.   Outdoor recreation equipment over six feet (6') high shall not be located in a front yard or within any required yard.
