8-4-14: COMPOSTING FACILITY:

8-4-14: COMPOSTING FACILITY:
   A.   Generally: The use shall comply with all applicable regulations pertaining to designation, licensing, and maintenance of commercial composting facilities including, but not limited to, federal, state, and local statutes, rules, and/or ordinances.
   B.   Grass Composting: Grass composting shall only be allowed when the application can demonstrate that the use will not cause undue adverse impacts on surrounding properties.
   C.   Separation: All structures, outdoor storage areas, or any areas where compost is stored shall be located at least one hundred feet (100') from any residential district or use.
   D.   Outdoor Storage Area: Outdoor storage areas shall comply with the specific use standards of this Chapter.
   E.   Compost Material Not A Fertilizer: For the purposes of this subsection, compost material is not considered a fertilizer and is not restricted by Section 8-3-2J.
