8-2-21: AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL (M3):
A. Purpose: The Airport Industrial (M3) District promotes the public health, safety, and welfare of Ada County by encouraging industrial uses primarily inside areas of impact to implement the applicable comprehensive plans that are adopted as part of the area of impact agreements. The Airport Industrial (M3) District may also be established outside areas of impact on a limited basis. The intent of this district is to provide separate and distinct allowed industrial uses based on the availability of urban public facilities, surrounding land uses, and the applicable comprehensive plan designation for the area. The Airport Industrial (M3) District accommodates industrial uses that are compatible with the safe operation of the Boise Air Terminal (Gowen Field). This district is intended for non-noise sensitive manufacturing, industrial, and commercial uses.
B. Development And Dimensional Standards:
1. Any proposed use within the airport overlay district shall comply with the regulations of Section 8-2-24 of this Title.
