5-7-1: SHORT TITLE AND PURPOSE:
This Chapter shall be known as the ADA COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE, and is enacted to provide for the health, safety and welfare of the people of Ada County and the humane and safe treatment of various animals, including dogs, and to establish all required procedures and regulations for the licensing and control of dogs and kennels.
