5-2-5-3: TITLE TO WASTE:
A. Title to solid waste and nonregulated hazardous waste shall pass to the county at the time of acceptance at a county operated disposal site. Title to solid waste and nonregulated hazardous waste shall pass to the owner or operator of a disposal site not operated by the county at the time of acceptance by the owner or operator at that disposal site. Title to all regulated hazardous waste and otherwise prohibited materials remains with the generator. The county reserves the right to remediate hazardous waste deposited at county operated disposal sites, and seek costs for such remediation from the generator. (Ord. 577, 3-22-2005; amd.
